Ieri, i Måneskin hanno chiuso il tour mondiale per l’album Rush! con una tappa molto suggestiva. Infatti, la band romana si è esibita all’AO Arena di Manchester. Una città che è uno dei templi della musica britannica, come ha detto lo stesso Damiano David dichiarando: “Questa città ha dato i natali a tantissimi ottimi artisti”. Il cantante dei Måneskin ha poi proseguito: “Ma c’è un gruppo particolarmente forte”.

Ovviamente, il cantante si riferiva al gruppo più celebre della città, cioè gli Oasis. I Måneskin li hanno voluti omaggiare eseguendo una delle loro più grandi hit, Don’t Look Back In Anger. Damiano, che ha eseguito una cover acustica con l’accompagnamento di Thomas Raggi, l’ha introdotta con una battuta: “Siamo sicuri che se mai un giorno vedranno questa cover penseranno che è una c***ta”.
