“Hypnotized” è stato il primo fortunato incontro tra Purple Disco Machine e la band di Sheffield. La naturale conseguenza di questa collaborazione, trasformatasi in amicizia, è il nuovo singolo intitolato “In the dark“.
Il disc jockey di Dresda, dopo l’ennesima hit globale “Dopamine“, ritorna alla sua passione originale, l’italo disco anni ’80.
Se all’interno del suo studio campeggia il vinile di “The night” del 1983 della “nostra” Valerie Dore, il motivo di questo ennesimo tributo all’Italia della disco è chiaro ed espresso in maniera dirompente.
Nel brano “In the dark” la voce di Sophie Scott si sposa perfettamente con i suoni del nuovo pezzo e trasmette divertimento e leggerezza, con la voglia di tornare ad ascoltare e ballare pezzi del genere.
