Il cantante canadese ha infranto l'ennesimo record.

Qualche settimana fa, raccontavamo i grandi successi di The Weeknd in occasione di un suo nuovo record. Infatti, Tesfaye è diventato l'artista con il brano più ascoltato di sempre su Spotify. Blinding Lights, il suo grandissimo successo del 2019, vincitore da solo di 87 dischi di platino e addirittura sei dischi di diamante, ha scavalcato l'altrettanto celebre Shape of You di Ed Sheeran.

Ora è arrivato un nuovo straordinario riconoscimento per The Weeknd. L'autore di Out Of Time è diventato anche l'artista più ascoltato in assoluto sulla celebre piattaforma, con più di 97 milioni di ascoltatori mensili, una cifra da capogiro.

Oltre ai due dischi che l'hanno lanciato nel panorama musicale di tutto il mondo, The beauty Behind the Madness e Starboy, sono stati gli ultimi due album After Hours e Dawn FM a farlo diventare definitivamente una superstar assoluta. Infatti, con ben 29 dischi di platino queste due perle della musica contemporanea hanno consacrato Abel Tesfaye.
